Shanghai ShuaiYin is one of the lesser-known Chinese microphone manufacturers. They provide contract manufacturing for numerous US brands, including CAD and Avant Electronics.

ShuaiYin’s website suggests that they are the actual manufacturer of all the popular ribbon mics sold by Alctron. Their production of inexpensive ribbon microphones began in 2004.

The company was founded in 2001 by “an expert who has been engaged in microphone research and development for more than 40 years.”
