The cardioid capsule has a half-inch diaphragm made of 5-micron Mylar, metallized with gold. The capsules are manufactured in China to Miktek’s specifications. The transformer is from AMI (model T5). The mic has a built-in (non-switched) high-pass filter at 80Hz.
The PM5 includes a camera-style carry case, mic bag, and clip.
