Avantone Pro CK-7
Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone
Avant’s CK-7 is a transformer-coupled large-diaphragm FET condenser with three pickup patterns: cardioid, omni, figure-8.
Onboard switches provide access to a -10dB pad and a high-pass filter (-6dB/octave below 80Hz).
The mic’s capsule is a dual-diaphragm, multipattern design. The capsule diameter is 35mm; the Mylar diaphragms measure approximately 30mm across, and are center-terminated.
The CK-7 ships with an elastic shockmount, a wooden storage case, and an aluminum flightcase.
The Avantone Pro CK-7 is also known as: CK7.
The mic was released in 2006.
