Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The AE5400 is a handheld condenser microphone designed for live performance applications. It uses a true condenser capsule and a transformer-coupled output circuit.
Handling noise is reduced through “anti-shock engineering,” which presumably means the capsule is shockmounted within the mic body.
The amplifier circuit is a dual-sided, surface-mount PCB.
Two switches on the microphone body enable a high-pass filter (80Hz) and a -10dB pad.
The mic ships with a clip (p/n AT8470) and a storage pouch.
