Vertical Microphones Diva
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The Diva is a transformerless Cardioid condenser with a transformerless output circuit.
The capsule is described as a “globally sourced,” 32mm edge-terminated design. It is almost certainly the same 34mm O.D., 3-micron capsule that was used in the Kel Song Sparrow microphone.
The Diva is built into a seamless cylindrical housing machined from an aluminum tube, with what appears to be a single-layer mesh grille fitted from inside the body. The circuit uses no switches, owing to the company’s charter to provide high performance-to-price ratio by avoiding superfluous features.

The mic was released in 2013.
