Shure PGA-58
Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone
The Shure PGA58 is Shure’s entry level stage vocal microphone, and replaces the PG58 in the Shure PG line. Like its predecessor, it has a Cardioid pickup pattern, a Neodymium magnet in the dynamic cartridge, and an on/off switch. The capsule is mounted on rubber to prevent handling noise and to protect from damage if the mic is dropped.
The mic is available with three choices of accessories:
- PGA58-QTR - Includes 15' (4.57m) XLR-to-1/4'' audio cable, mic clip, european mic stand thread adapter, and a storage pouch
- PGA58-XLR - As above, with standard XLR cable in place of the 1/4'' cable
- PGA58-LC - includes mic clip, thread adapter, and storage pouch (no cable)
All versions of the mic include a mic bag, and a mic clip.
The Shure PGA-58 is also known as: PGA58, PGA 58.
The mic was released in 2017.
