Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone

The Sennheiser e 608 is a miniature clip-on dynamic microphone. The mic is designed to clamp onto brass and woodwind instruments.

The e 608 capsule is side-address and shock-mounted at the end of a gooseneck. The opposite end of the gooseneck leads to a permanently attached XLR cable (length not specified).

The e 608 is similar to Sennheiser e 908 but uses a dynamic capsule rather than Condenser.

The mic ships with the MZQ 608 3-finger clip.

The MZH 908 D clip can be used to attach the e608 or e908 to a drum. MZH 908 B is an A-Clamp style for e608 and e908 to attach to the bell of a brass instrument.

The Sennheiser Electronics Corporation e 608 is also known as: e608, evolution 608.
