Shotgun Condenser Microphone

The MKH 60 is a lightweight short shotgun microphone. The mic uses Sennheiser’s RF Condenser technology, which gives it very high sensitivity with low self-noise, as well as resistance to environmental conditions such as humidity.

The mic has 3 switches on the body: a -10dB pad, a low-frequency roll-off, and high-frequency emphasis. The latter is a high shelf compensation for treble loss with distant miking.

The MKH 8060 is somewhat of an updated replacement for MKH 60, with modular design, higher sensitivity and high frequency pickup up to 25kHz.

The Sennheiser Electronics Corporation MKH 60 is also known as: MKH60.
