X/Y Stereo Condenser Stereo Microphone
The Rode Stereo VideoMic Pro is a compact camera-mount microphone with dual 1/2-inch cardioid capsules in an XY stereo arrangement. The SVMP can also be boom or stand mounted.
Rode has improved upon the Stereo VideoMic design making it more compact and better isolated.
The SVMP is powered by a 9V battery. The Pad (-10dB) and high-pass filter (75Hz rolloff) are switchable on rear of the microphone body. The output connector is a 3.5mm phono plug.
The RØDE Stereo VideoMic Pro is also known as: SVMP.
The mic was released in 2012.
