Cardioid Condenser Microphone

The C1 is a fixed Cardioid version of Miktek’s multipattern C7.

Both are large-diaphragm FET condensers with AMI output transformers and a unique “bias voltage” switch that allows the user to select either a 48VDC or 60VDC feed to the capsule; the higher voltage is described as a more “modern” sound, with higher sensitivity.

Aside from the 3-way pattern control switch on the C7, the two mics are otherwise identical.

The C1 will begin shipping in Q2-2013.
