MXL V69XM
Cardioid Tube Condenser Microphone
The V69XM is a transformer-coupled version of the V69/V69ME, with additional circuitry changes. Both mics are fixed-cardioid, large-diaphragm condenser mics based on a 12AT7 tube amplifier.
The capsule is a large-diaphragm, center-terminated design. The outside diameter is 32mm. The diaphragm measures 25mm in diameter, and is made of 6-micron Mylar.
Although we have not verified this, we have been told that this microphone contains a fixed high-frequency attenuation EQ within the power supply circuitry.
The mic ships with an elastic shockmount (p/n MXL-57), a hard mic mount (p/n MXL-V6-H), a 15' 7-pin Mogami power cable, a power supply, a micro-fiber cleaning cloth, a 15' Mogami XLR microphone cable, and an aluminum flight case.
The MXL V69XM is also known as: V69-XM.
The mic was released in 2009.
