Description

The Trion 6000 is a 3-pattern FET condenser mic with two externally-biased diaphragms. The mic is made in China and appears to be a ShuaiYin SYC3000.

Incorporating a sophisticated, precision-machined, hand assembled capsule, the Trion 6000 features low mass 1'' gold vapor deposited, hand-dampened diaphragms. It weighs over 2 lbs with the shockmount.

In the figure 8 configuration … the 6000 sounded a little brighter on the back side than the front.
