Audio-Technica AT815ST
Multi-Pattern Condenser Stereo Microphone
The AT815ST is a dual-capsule shotgun mic measuring nearly 15'' in length.
One capsule has a line-cardioid polar pattern. The second has a figure-of-8 pattern. Matrixing circuitry in the microphone combines these signals to produce three stereo patterns:
- L/R, narrow
- L/R, wide
- Mid-Side
Both condenser capsules are back-electret designs.
A switch on the microphone body enables a high-pass filter (-12dB/octave @ 80Hz).
The connector on the microphone is a 5-pin XLR; the mic ships with a 24'' (0.61 m) cable (5-pin XLRF to two standard 3-pin XLRM connectors).
The AT815ST was replaced in Audio-Technica’s product line by the BP4027.
The Audio-Technica AT815ST is also known as: AT815.
