Hypercardioid Dynamic Microphone
The Audio-Technica AE6100/LE is a limited 50th Anniversary edition of the popular AE6100 hypercardioid dynamic microphone.
The anniversary model features silver metallic finish with blue accents, and etched serial number. In all other respects, including furnished accessories, the mic is identical to the original AE6100.
The mic uses two layers of metal mesh lined with foam, and a second layer of foam atop the dynamic cartridge, to reduce plosives.
The internal assembly is shockmounted within the body, to reduce handling noise.
