An inexpensive side-address condenser, this mic has a cardioid pickup pattern and an internally-switched high pass filter.

Like all Alctron products, it is not typically available direct from the manufacturer, but rather through a number of European and North American “rebadgers.” For example, the HSMC001W is Apex Electronics’ model 435 condenser.
