AKG Acoustics D 3800
Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone
The D3800 is a handheld dynamic microphone intended for live vocal reproduction. It uses AKG’s “Varimotion” laminate diaphragm technology, and a triangular “TriPower” body.
The mic’s moving-coil capsule is suspended within the mic body to reduce mechanical noise. A hum suppression coil helps reduce EMI/RFI (radio or electronic interference).
AKG
The VARIMOTION diaphragm is the first microphone diaphragm ever made whose thickness varies across its diameter. This allows the diaphragm itself to be tuned to the desired resonance frequency for a quantum leap in audio performance.
The package includes the microphone, a stand adapter and a hard shell road case.
The AKG Acoustics D 3800 is also known as: D3800, D 3800.
