9 polar patternst.bone Retro Tube II

Multi-Pattern Tube Condenser Microphone

The Retro Tube II is a 9-pattern tube condenser microphone with switchable pad and filter, in a bottle-style housing.

The capsule measures 35mm O.D. and is presumably a K67 type.

The pattern control switch offers 9 polar patterns: Omni, Cardioid, Figure 8, with six intermediate steps. Pattern is selected via a stepped rotary control on the power supply. The mic’s sensitivity changes across patterns.

Two microswitches on the body of the microphone selectively enable a -10dB pad and high-pass filter.

The Retro Tube II ships with a vintage-style power supply, elastic shockmount (with metal frame), foam windscreen, velvet-lined wooden storage case for the microphone, and a large locking flightcase.
