Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone
The TG-X 58 is a dynamic vocal mic intended for stage use, physically modeled after and even named after the SM-58.
Like the less-expensive TG-X 48, the TG-X 58 has a supercardioid pickup pattern, which provides superior off-axis rejection as compared to the cardioid SM-58.
A foam pop screen built into the headbasket reduces plosives.
The mic body is coated with a special soft finish said to make handling easier and more comfortable.
How is the TG-X 58 different from the TG-X 48?
- The TG-X 58 has an on-off switch.
- The TG-X 58 is 7g heavier.
- The TG-X 58 costs $30 more (MSRP).
The mic ships with a microphone clip and storage pouch.
