beyerdynamic MC 837
Shotgun Condenser Microphone
The MC 837 is Beyerdynamic’s “long shotgun” mic — an extremely directional end-address condenser intended for film and location recording where the elimination of ambient noise is a concern.
Like the shorter MC 836, the 837 has a switchable high-pass filter that operates at 90Hz. The two mics’ frequency-response graphs are nearly identical.
The beyerdynamic MC 837 is also known as: MC837.
