TSM Muneo
Multi-Pattern Tube Condenser Microphone
The Muneo was a large-diaphragm multipattern condenser mic with an unusual dual-tube topology and a very large (38mm) capsule. It appears to have been an imitation of the Lauten Audio Oceanus, although it differed in numerous critical respects, such as circuit and capsule design.
Few details are available from the manufacturer, but we found detailed schematics and circuit photos created by someone who claims to have reverse-engineered the circuit so he’d have reference materials in the event that the mic needed to be repaired.

V1 is a 12AX7B used as a Constant Current Draw Amplifier (CCDA) which is using V1a as Grounded Cathode amplifier followed by V1b in a Cathode Follower configuration.
V2 is a 12AU7 used as an impedance matching device.
The capsule is a dual-diaphragm design, switchable via the power supply between Omni, Cardioid, Figure-8, and six intermediate patterns.
The mic shipped with a power supply and cable in a padded aluminum flight case.
The mic has been discontinued, and is no longer available.
