Cardioid Dynamic Microphone

e 935 is a handheld cardioid dynamic for live vocal use. Along with the rest of the original e900 series, the e935 received a TEC award in 2005.

The mic features a metal body, internal shockmount, hum compensating coil and a moving-coil cartridge build with Neodymium rare-earth magnets for high output.

Its frequency response is rated at 40–18kHz, with lows rolled off below 150Hz and 2-3dB lift from 2-10kHz. In close-miked applications, the low end would be fuller due to proximity effect.

The wireless version, SKM 500-935 G3, is one of the most popular live vocal mics.

When you get a mic capsule like the Sennheiser e935, the artist tends to be more true to their voice and perform better, because they are hearing better in their [in-ear monitors]. They are also not straining their voice as much and they are going for more emotive expression because they don’t have to fight the technology.

The Sennheiser Electronics Corporation e 935 is also known as: e935, evo935.
