Stereo Mic Set with Stereo Bar
Samar Audio’s MF65 ribbon microphone is available in matched stereo pairs. There is no matching fee, because the manufacturing tolerances on each microphone are so high that any two microphones are as matched as they can be.
Individual shockmounts as well as a unique dual-mic Blumlein shockmount are available as options. The Blumlein mount is essentially a stereo shockmount that holds two MF65s head-to-head, with one inverted so that the ribbon elements are coincident.
The stereo pair ships in a handmade-in-USA wooden storage case.
The Blumlein shockmount is available separately for $450.
