RØDE Broadcaster
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The Broadcaster is a fixed-cardioid FET condenser mic with a distinctive “on air” LED built into the case.
Designed, as its name suggests, for broadcast use, the mic won an award from the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) in 1998.
The capsule is Rode’s HF2, a large-diaphragm true condenser capsule.
The mic has a switchable high pass filter to remove low frequency rumble.
