MXL V67GS
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
MXL V67GS is a large-diaphragm solid-state condenser microphone.
The V67GS uses the same 32mm gold-sputtered capsule (6-micron 25mm diameter diaphragm) as V67G.
The GS includes a switchable high-pass filter (-6dB/octave @ 150Hz) and a -6dB pad which we believe are new on this model. The MXL website shows the same features on the V67G, but we believe this to be a misprint.
Although nominally a Cardioid microphone, the published frequency-response graph a very wide Cardioid, approaching Omni; there is no discernable null at 180°, and only ~3dB of attenuation at 90°.
The V67GS ships with MXL MT-001 plastic hard mount.

The mic was released in 2012.
