InnerTUBE Audio MM-2006

Description

Built into the housing of an “acoustically neutral” MagLite, the MM-2006 is a second-generation large-diaphragm multipattern tube condenser built with no compromises.

The capsule is a large-, dual-diaphragm design that can be set to any desired pickup pattern via the continuously-variable control on the power supply.

The tube is a “hand-selected” 6922, as in the MM-2000.

The open headbasket design reduces reflections that could muddy the sound, but requires the use of a pop/blast filter for vocal applications.

Switches on the body provide a -20dB pad, as well as a 3-position output-gain attenuator; because the mic provides a line-level output, the user can select -10dB and -24dB of gain reduction.
The barrel diameter measures 1.525''.

The mic ships with spider-type shockmount, power supply and necessary cables. It is available in black, dark red, and electric blue.

The InnerTUBE Audio MM-2006 is also known as: MM2006.

The mic was released in 2006.
