FLEA 12
Multi-Pattern Tube Condenser Microphone
The Flea 12 is a replica of the AKG C12 with a modern power supply, including 3-pattern switch. Available polar patterns are Omni, Cardioid, and Figure-8.
The mic uses Tim Campbell’s CT12 capsule, a modern recreation of the three-chamber “brass CK-12,” a design discontinued long ago by AKG.
The tube is the 5-star GE 6072, a NOS dual triode vacuum tube used by AKG in the original C12.
The transformer is a replica of AKG’s transformer, made by Flea.
The mic ships with modern power supply and a cable with swivel-mount mic connector. Optional accessories include: wood box, shockmount, safe case, vintage PSU.
