Ehrlund Microphones EHR-B
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The EHR-B is the “broadcast” version of Göran Ehrlund’s EHR-M condenser mic. Both are premium, fixed-Cardioid, transformerless condenser microphones with the company’s unique (and patented) triangular capsule design.
The only difference between the two mics is the inclusion of a fixed high-pass filter (at 80Hz) on the B version, which is built specifically for broadcast use.
The mic’s triangular capsule is said to be less subject to resonance than a circular diaphragm would be. Read more in the patent, linked from the sidebar, or in the EHR-M profile.
