Cardioid Dynamic Microphone
The AE4100 is a handheld vocal dynamic designed for stage use.
The mic has a multi-layer pop filter built into its headbasket: an outer grille of steel wire, lined with a fine steel mesh, lined with open-cell acoustic foam, covers a foam disk mounted to the cop of the dynamic cartridge.
Audio-Technica claims the mic delivers an “aggressive sound that stays up-front in the mix.”
