AKG Acoustics C 419
Hypercardioid Condenser Microphone
- Microphone for wind instruments
- Miniature gooseneck for accurate microphone alignment
- Transducer shock mount reduces handling and cable noise
This condenser clip-on microphone has been designed specifically for wind instruments including saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba, etc. The C 419 is also en excellent choice for per-cussions such as Udu drums, cajón, and frame drum, or as an alternative to the C 418 on the snare drum. A frequency-independent hypercardioid polar pattern reduces spillover from neighboring instruments to a minimum. A rubber coated clamp ensures easy attachment to the bell of a horn or the sound hole of a cajón, and a 4.3-inch (110-mm) adjustable gooseneck allows precise microphone alignment.
Variations:
- C419PP: For hardwire applications, with standard XLR connec-tor for phantom powering.
- C419L: With mini XLR connector for use with B29L battery operated power supply, MPA III L external phantom power adapter, or AKG WMS bodypack transmitters.
The AKG Acoustics C 419 is also known as: C419 C419L C419PP, C419, C 419.
