797 Audio is one of the best-known Chinese manufacturers of audio gear.
The company partnered with US-based Studio Projects to produce the first generation of Studio Projects-branded microphones. 797 is the source of some of the best K67-style condenser capsules outside of Neumann; the 797 capsule can be found in the Soundelux U95 and numerous other mid- to high-end condensers.
797 Audio manufactures its own line of microphones, amplifiers, studio electronics, and loudspeakers, and continues to serve as OEM/Contract Manufacturer for many US and European brands.
