AMI is primarily a source for audio output transformers.
Before the passing of company founder Oliver Archut in 2014, the company designed and built guitar amps, microphones, and transformers for numerous clients, in addition to selling reproduction parts for vintage mic restoration and other DIY microphone supplies.
As of 2022, the company has relocated from Gaylord, KS to Washington state. The company continues to supply output transformers, both for OEM customers and end users.
