Shure KSM32 – The Tape Op Review

TapeOp Issue #16/March, 2000 | by

I’ll never say, “No” to the chance to try out a new condenser mic. Shure unleashed this addition to their fine stable of mics last year. I feel like I haven’t given it a full test, because I started putting it up in front of electric guitar amps and have kept doing so. It has a great low-end presence that I really dig, and the mids and highs sound pretty natural. Check out Sleater-Kinney‘s upcoming CD, All Hands on the Bad One, to hear it in use.

More about the Shure KSM32 cardioid condenser microphone.
