beyerdynamic Opus 83
Cardioid Pencil Condenser Microphone
The Opus 83 is an electret FET condenser mic in a traditional pencil-mic form factor. It is part of Beyerdynamic’s Opus line of instrument mics, and is intended for use in instrument miking, especially of drums and percussion.
The mic was introduced at the Winter NAMM show in January, 2005.
It ships with a mic clip (p/n MKV 108).
