Cardioid Pencil Condenser Microphone
The Opus 53 is an inexpensive cardioid FET condenser, suited to instrument miking.
The mic was introduced with the Opus series of drum and instrument mics, in early 2005.
The mic capsule is an electret design. The mic requires phantom power, but can run at as low as 12VDC.
It ships with a mic clip (p/n MKV 109).
