Cardioid Pencil Condenser Microphone
The MCE 530 is an inexpensive, fixed-cardioid small-diaphragm FET condenser microphone.
The element is a back-electret design.
The amplifier requires phantom power. The mic will operate on as little as 11V, although below 48V the maximum SPL drops from 136dB to 126dB.
The mic body is plastic, reinforced with carbon fiber.
