Cardioidbeyerdynamic MC 834

Cardioid Condenser Microphone

The MC 834 is a general-purpose studio condenser microphone, suitable for instrument or vocal recording.

It has a fixed cardioid pickup pattern.

Onboard switches provide a 3-way pad (-10dB, -20dB, 0dB) and a 3-way high-pass filter (flat, -6dB @ 80Hz or 160Hz).

The mic requires phantom power, but can operate at as low as 11V (presumably with some loss of sensitivity and SPL capability).

The MC834 ships with an elastic suspension mount (p/n EA 37).

The beyerdynamic MC 834 is also known as: MC834.
