Sterling Audio
Sterling Audio manufactures a line of microphones sold exclusively through Guitar Center, Musicians Friend, and affiliated companies. The microphones were developed in part by Aspen Pittman of Groove Tubes fame; many of the Sterling Audio microphones are said to have identical twins in the GT product line.
Many of the large-diaphragm condenser models utilise a “resonator disk” mounted to the capsule to create a flatter, extended high-frequency response that is otherwise uncommon in such microphones.
The Sterling mics are manufactured in China. They carry a 1-year warranty.
