Cardioid Condenser Microphone

The Stedman SC3 cardioid condenser microphone offers great sonic flexibility with its unique 3-mode design.

The 3 sonic modes are selected from the front mounted switch:

  • The vintage modes offer the warmth often needed for digital recording and yield a natural sound with a very true image.
  • Using the enhanced mode the SC3 will provide added detail and help increase the subject clarity in the mix, even at very low background mix levels. An ideal way to give vocals a more open sound or add sparkle to percussive instruments.
  • ?

The SC3 studio optimized cardioid pattern derives from a highly efficient gold sputtered ultra low mass membrane in a .9'' (23mm) diameter genuine condenser capsule. The electronics include a low noise classic single FET “tube cathode follower equivalent” circuit for an extremely natural sound. The SC3 also has a two position -9dB and -18dB, pre attenuator switch that increases SPL handling to 150dB for high level instruments and amplifiers.

Includes stand adapter clip, molded case and a 2 year warranty.
The SC3 can also be ordered in matched calibrated pairs.

Each SC3 is hand-built in the U.S.A.
