Sontronics STC-20
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The STC-20 is a large-diaphragm FET condenser with a fixed Cardioid pattern. It was introduced as an inexpensive all-purpose studio mic.
It shares a large-diaphragm capsule design with the company’s STC-2, and appears to be presented as a lower-cost version of same — it lacks the pad, HPF, shockmount, and flightcase of the STC-2.
The STC-20 ships with a ring mount. An elastic shockmount is available separately.
(Additional details about this mic are forthcoming.)
The Sontronics STC-20 is also known as: STC20.
The mic was released in 2010.
