SE Electronics SE1000
discontinued Cardioid Condenser Microphone
Description
The SE1000 was an early large-diaphragm condenser microphone from sE Electronics, prior to the construction of the sE factory. The company’s mics at the time were manufactured by Feilo.
The SE1000 was a rebadged Feilo CR1-86. It was a fixed-cardioid, large-diaphragm, transformer-coupled FET condenser mic.
SoundOnSound
The traditionally styled SE1000 will be familiar … as it has been badged and sold as an ‘own brand’ mic by numerous companies keen to cash in on cost-effective Chinese mic manufacture.
The SE Electronics SE1000 is also known as: SE-1000.
