SE Electronics H 3500
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The H3500 was a large-diaphragm FET condenser, described by one engineer as the “child” of the Neumann TLM103 and U-47. It was announced in late 2003, and discontinued sometime in 2005.
The H3500 shipped with an elastic shockmount in an aluminum flightcase (photo at right courtesy Janne Lummaa).
The mic used a transformer-coupled output, and a 27mm gold-sputtered diaphragm made of 6-micron Mylar. Little else is known about this microphone.

I’ve done side by side comparisons with the SE 3500 and Neumann TLM103, and found to have a mic which sounds as crisp and clean but possibily a warmer low end for a fraction of the cost.
The SE Electronics H 3500 is also known as: 3500, H3500.
The mic was released in 2003.
