SE Electronics Gemini 3500
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The Gemini 3500, aka G 3500, is a large-diaphragm FET condenser microphone with a fixed cardioid pickup pattern.
As a member of the Gemini family, it uses the same capsule as the other single-pattern Gemini mics — the Gemini, Gemini II, and Gemini 5.
The mic ships with a shockmount in a black aluminum flight case.
Note that despite similarities in the name and physical appearance of the Gemini 3500 to the earlier sE H 3500, also a large-diaphragm FET condenser, the two mics have different capsules and different amplifier circuits. Further, the new Gemini 3500 is approximately 30% smaller than the H3500.
Further details about the mic are forthcoming.
The SE Electronics Gemini 3500 is also known as: G 3500.
The mic was released in 2010.
