SE Electronics 3600
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
Part of the sE “Custom Series,” the sE 3600 was a large-diaphragm FET condenser microphone built as a successor to the earlier model H3500. This mic dates to the days when sE products were manufactured by Feilo.
The 3600 used a 1.07” (27mm) capsule and Class A FET electronics.
The mic used an unusually tall headbasket design; the grille occupied nearly 3/4 of the height of the microphone.
It shipped with a shockmount in an aluminum flightcase.
