Omnidirectional Pencil Condenser Microphone
The OM 16 is an omnidirectional FET mic with a transformerless output stage.
Unlike most of PML’s products, the OM16 has a traditional round capsule, with a diameter of 14mm. These capsules are made in-house at PML.
The mic delivers a flat frequency response from 50Hz through 4kHz, with a 2dB presence boost from 6kHz–10kHz. It is presented as a neutral, uncolored microphone.
The Pearl Microphone Laboratory OM 16 is also known as: OM16.
The mic was released in 2005.
