Description

The Oktava ML-52-01 is an variation on the ML-52 (aka ML-52-02), which was introduced 5 years earlier. The ‘01 has an improved internal blast filter, which provides two benefits:

  • better protection of the ribbons from blasts of air and from moisture
  • reduced LF sensitivity, which helps counteract proximity effect when close-miking.

The Oktava ML-52-01 is also known as: ML5201, 52-01.

The mic was released in 2005.
