Nady RSM-8A
Bidirectional Active Ribbon Microphone
The RSM-8A is a large-geometry Chinese-made ribbon mic in the style of Nady’s RSM-2, but with a phantom-powered preamp circuit built into the mic body — as well as a switched -10dB pad (on a ribbon!) and HPF.
THe 50mm long ribbon qualifies this mic as a long ribbon, short path ribbon architecture.
The Nady RSM-8A is also known as: RSM8, RSM-8, RSM8A.
The mic was released in 2008.
