Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The CX22 is a small-diaphragm FET condenser microphone.
The capsule, described as a 22mm design, is believed to be MXL’s standard 17mm (diaphragm) small-diaphragm design, found in the 603S and numerous other microphones, including the Tempo XLR (which matches most of the performance specs of the CX22).
Few technical details about this microphone are available; we will update this profile as further information is released.
The MXL CX-22 is also known as: CX22.
The mic was released in 2012.
