Focusrite CM25
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The CM25 is a cardioid condenser microphone bundled with Focusrite’s “Scarlett Studio” all-in-one recording package.
The mic uses a small-diaphragm electret capsule whose diameter is stated to be 20mm. It is mounted within a larger perforated baffle. The impedance conversion circuit is made with through-hole parts on a single circuit board. The output is electronically balanced (transformerless).
