Cardioid Dynamic Microphone
The CAD D10 is an inexpensive moving-coil dynamic microphone with a fixed cardioid polar pattern. Like its sibling, the D12, the D10 is designed for kick drum and other low-frequency sources.
The frequency response of the CAD D10 has been aggressively tailored, with a 12dB peak centered at 80Hz and another at 5kHz. The response is fairly flat from 200 to 2kHz.
The D10 features an integrated swivel mount.
The CAD D10 is sold as part of the Stage 4 and Stage 7 Drum Mic Kits. It does not appear to be sold individually.
