Audio-Technica ATM73a
Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The ATM73 is a headworn electret microphone, designed for performers who need hands-free operation.
The mic’s power supply can be clipped to a belt. It is powered via a single AA/UM3 battery, or Phantom power.
The mic includes its dedicated power supply (A-T p/n AT8531), a foam windscreen (p/n AT8128), and an AA battery.
The ATM73a is available in multiple versions:
- ATM73cW - omits the power supply in favor of cabling compatible with Audio-Technica’s UniPak wireless transmitter system.
- ATM73ac - omits the power supply (presumably made available as a replacement option for expired headsets?)
The Audio-Technica ATM73a is also known as: ATM73ac, ATM73cW.
